Hi, there and welcome to another fabulous blog hop where the Perfect Layers designers are teaming up with the talented designers at Tiddy Inks.  With projects created using Perfect Layers and Tiddly Ink's clear and digital stamps we hope to wow you with some gorgeous creations today!

I've had my eye on this Tiddly Inks, Bee Happy stamp set for quite some time and was so excited about the chance to color her up as a birthday (or Bee day) card for a friend.  I colored her with Copics and added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to her little wings.  As for the card itself, I kept things pretty CAS (Clean and Simple) only using my Perfect Layer tool to create my mats of black cardstock and designer paper from My Minds' Eye (Sunshine)and a MFT Hexagon Die-namic.

Now, let's talk prizes!

Hop along with us today and leave some blog love for our Perfect Layers Designers and the Tiddly Ink's Blog to be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate from Perfect Paper Crafting.  Tiddly Inks is offering a $25 gift certificate to use in the Tiddly Inks store AND a Perfect Layers Ruler.  Prizes will be selected randomly from comments left on the DT blogs.

Happy Birthday Christy

Tiddly Ink's newest challenge theme is Birthday Bash in honor of Christy's birthday which is in just a few days.  I've created a birthday card for Christy using one her newest images Wryn - Birthday Girl.  And since Red & Black are Christy's favorite colors I chose to create my card and paper piece all the the gifts with papers from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Collection (Union Park). (I'm seriously gonna freak out when this paper pad is all gone!!)   ;)  That gorgeous Burgundy Satin Pleated Ribbon is one of my favorites that can be found at the Ribbon Carousel

Heard You're Egg-specting!

Our friends and neighbor recently found out that they are expecting their first baby.  So when I saw Tiddly Ink's Wyrn - Excellent News I thought it would make a perfect new parent card.  I used papers from My Mind's Eye (Howdy Dowdy) and machine stitched the paper panels.  The White Satin Pleated ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel.

By the way, just as I finished this card my neighbor came over to tell me that it's a BOY!!
Guess I'll be making one of these in blue then!!  LOL

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Best Friends

Once again, my card today combines Tiddly Inks and the Ribbon Carousel challenges...both start today.
This week the Ribbon Carousel has another fabulous sketch for you created by the fabulous Danielle Lounds.  The papers I used are from Echo Park's This & That (Charming) Collection.  I ran a length of Mango Vintage Seam Binding down the paw print border punch as an accent color and then again to hold the dog & cat charms that are tied together with some Lemon Divine Twine.  Hopefully my creation has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blogwhere this weeks prize is a $20 gift certificate from this weeks sponsor...The Sweet Stamp Shop.   Your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool) and use this weeks sketch.

And since Tiddly Ink's newest challenge theme is Best Friends, I was inspired to use
Silver -  Play Time for my image because of our newest furry family member...
 Trinket!

A very innocent trip to the Pet Store (to buy fish food) a few weeks ago resulted in me not being able to leave with out her!!    Isn't she GORGEOUS?!?!  Some of you may remember last year when I posted that we had a new puppy.  Sadly, she was biting and being very aggressive towards the kids.  So after a very tearful family meeting we all agreed that we needed to find her a new home...without children.  (Her new family tells us that she's doing great!)

I think people tend to gravitate towards the type of pet they grew up with, don't you?  So with that being said, I would definitely have to say I was a "dog person" and my husband is a  NO pets person (boo!)  BUT... she has totally won us all over (my husband included) and we are now  "cat people".  LOL!!  But more than anything, she has turned out to be a PERFECT fit for our family.
She's suprisingly very social for a cat, and a total cuddlier who loves being with her "people" and SLEEPING!!  LOL  Every time I see her she's sleeping and one the kids is cuddled up with her in a blanket.    :)

Double Digit Birthday!

It's Saturday and that means there's a brand new sketch at The Sweet Stop.
Our niece Alyssa turned 10 last weekend and I thought Tiddly Ink's, Lilli Claire Party Time would be perfect for her birthday card.

And I must be getting use to all these tilted panels in card designs because I didn't even once start hyperventilating while creating this card.  LOL  :)  I actually loved it!!  I also loved playing with some of Echo Parks newest papers This & That (Graceful)...such bright and fun colors.  The felt rose and numbers were both created with My Favorite Thing die-namics.

I added a little machine stitching with my brand new Janome Sew Mini sewing machine....can you say LOVE?!?!  It is the perfect little craft sewing machine and I could kick myself for waiting so long to buy it.  I found it to be a breeze to operate and although I'm still practicing, the slow speed is ideal for getting straight stitches.  I got mine for less than $50 HERE.

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Giddy Up

My card today combines Tiddly Inks and the Ribbon Carousel challenges...both start today.

Tiddly Ink's newest challenge theme is to use fabric on your project and I chose to use some Burlap Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.  I cut the banding off along the edges of the ribbon and as best I could, I pleated the burlap into a circle.  Each pleat is held in place with hot glue and covered with a button.  My image is one of Tiddly Ink's newest Wryn's - Howdy Cowgirl.  My papers are from Glitz (French Kiss) paper pad.

I hope you will stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog where the Design Team has created fabulous cards and projects that are sure to inspire you!!  And did you know that Christy releases new images every Tuesdays?  Click HERE to see for yourself.

This week the Ribbon Carousel challenge is an easy one... Anything Goes.    Hopefully my creation has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blogwhere this weeks prize is a stamp set from the Avocado Arts.   Your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool).

Easter Wishes

Yes, yes...I know.  Valentines Day was just a few days ago and I've already designing my first Easter card!!  :)  Well, I just couldn't wait any longer to color up Tiddly Inks, Some Bunny Loves You - Wryn.   And of course I've used it together with Korin's sketch for this weeks Sweet Stop.

You guys know how much I freak out when a sketch has a "tilted" element in it and I almost gave up trying to make this work but I'm so glad I hung in there because I LOVE the way it came out!!  XOXO  :)  I once again turned to my very favorite papers...My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found - Sunshine)which is 20% off right now at SCACD

This weeks sketch has a spin to it and that is to use punches or dies on your project.  Easy right!?!  :)
I've got a little of both going on right now with a Martha Stewart Doily border punch along the bottom,  as well as a My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Grass die-namic and Cloud die-namic for my sentiment panel.  But my very favorite part of this whole card would have to be the carrot!!

This little felt carrot was created by using some embroidery floss, hot glue and My Favorite Things Banner Day Die-namic and Flower/Leaf trio die-namics.  (Yep, that's a banner die...Isn't it precious?!?!  :)  Let me know if you think I should I do a little picture tutorial on how I made it.  It's really easy!!  :)

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Happy Valentines Day!

My card today combines Tiddly Inks and the Ribbon Carousel challenges...both start today.

Tiddly Ink's newest challenge theme is to SPARKLE!  And I chose Wryn so I could sparkle up her crown and wand.  Isn't she SWEET?!?!  :)  I'm thinking little Wryn may need to practice with that wand a little more as I think she's turned her Prince Charming into a frog.  And you may notice, she has red hair!!  She's the first image I've colored with red hair and I love the way it came out!!

I hope you will stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog where the Design Team has created fabulous cards and projects that are sure to inspire you!!  And it's always a good idea to check out Christy's Blog too...as you never know what fun little surprises you might find there.

This week the Ribbon Carousel has another fabulous sketch for you created by the fabulous Danielle Lounds.  I totally puffy heart this sketch and have already used it twice!!  I used one of my favorite color schemes by choosing papers from the My Mind's Eye- Lost and Found (Breeze) Collection.  A sweet little double bow was created using my Bow Easy and Scarab Vintage Seam Binding.  Hopefully my creation has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blogwhere this weeks prize is a stamp set of their choice from the Crafts Meow.   Your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool) and use this weeks sketch.

All My Heart

Good Afternoon!!  I had such a good time last night with my blogging friend Tracy of Tracy's Stamping Corner that I forgot to schedule my post for today.  Oops!!   Eddie and I met Tracy and her husband Chris for dinner and drinks and ended up chatting until very early in the morning.  Tracy and I are always talking about how crazy similar our lives are, I swear it's like meeting yourself in a parallel universe.  LOL!!  We had a blast together and hope we get the chance to do it again soon.

For my card today, I've used another fabulous sketch from The Sweet Stop along with one of the newest released Tiddly Ink Wryn's...Heartfelt LoveAre you head over heels for Wryn like I am?!?!  Well, I happen to know that there are even more sweet Wryns to come soon so you'll want to check out Christy's Blog where you can find a new release every Tuesday.

Since the image is digital, I created the sentiment in a text box and printed them both together.  I used some gorgeous new papers from Glitz (Pretty In Pink) which you can find at SCACD.  I embossed kraft cardstock with an embossing folder and brushed on some white ink with a stippling brush to bring the design out.  I made a sweet little bow with my Bow Easy with some beautiful Rubytoned Vintage Seambinding from the Ribbon Carousel which is a perfect match to the papers.

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Sugar Babies (who I'm sure were on time with their posts) have done with this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Be Mine....or Else!!

It's a new Tiddly Ink's Challenge...
~ Valentines ~

I decided to create a Valentine with a bit of an attitude using Tiddly Inks, Whatever!   I have a similar pose (crossed arms and tilted head) when my husband is not doing something my way!!  LOL   I bet lots of you do too, right?!?!  :)

The papers are My Mind's Eye, Union Square (I promise I do have other paper pads, LOL).  I used a crimper tool that I had completely forgotten I had, for a fun corragated cardboard look.  I tied the ends of some Black Crocheted Lace from the Ribbon Carousel in knots and frayed the ends.  The heart was created with Spellbinders Scalloped and Classic heart dies and popped up with foam tape for dimension.  The sentiment is believe it or not...handwritten.  And a few black rhinestone hearts that I thought I'd NEVER use make it complete.  :)

I hope you will stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog where the Design Team has created fabulous cards and projects that are sure to inspire you!!  And it's always a good idea to check out Christy's Blog too...as you never know what fun little surprises you might find there.

New Wings (SSS143)

Morning Peeps!!
It's going to be a short and sweet post...I've got a very busy day ahead of me.
Nathan's 5th Birthday party this afternoon and a Monster Truck show later tonight.

I tried so hard for a soft/pastel coloring approach with Tiddly Ink's newest sweetheart...
Wryn - New Wings, but in the end I just couldn't do it!!  LOL  I used some gorgeous girly/vintage papers from My Mind's Eye (Market Street) and added a little machine stitching.  It turned out to be a hot mess, but my husband said it added to the Shabby Chic look....works for me!!  LOL

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Out of this World

It's time for a new Tiddly Inks Challenge and this time it's a color challenge...
~ Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue ~

I created a card for the kids to give to their Grandpa for his birthday using the adorable Tiddly Inks digital image, Come In Cuteness.  I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder (Spots & Dots) to create the "moon" and a Martha Stewart zig zag border punch above a computer generated sentiment.  I created different levels of dimension by applying foam tape to the Spellbinder Stars, image, and "moon" panel.   My Mind's Eye Lime Twist paper collection (Fly a Kite) turned out to have the perfect colors needed for this weeks color challenge.

I hope you will stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog where the Design Team has created fabulous cards and projects that are sure to inspire you!!  And it's always a good idea to check out Christy's Blog too....as you never know what fun little surprises you might find on her blog.
