Candy Cane Seeds

For our There She Goes challenge this week we'd like to see your Season of Giving themed cards and projects.  TSG offers so many different stamps, and SEVERAL of them feature things that are perfect for this challenge.  It is also There She Goes (Again!) Week, and we are featuring THREE gorgeous stamps sets.

For my project, I used the No Peeking stamp set and Just for You stamp set and dies to create a tiny vile of Candy Cane Seeds.

The seeds were then delivered to my children by our family's Elf on the Shelf, Holly.  The kids were to plant the seeds into a pot of sugar also brought by the elf.

The very next morning they work up to find that Candy Cane's had popped up exactly where they had planted the seeds the day before.  :)

The Trendsetters went all-out this month and made some really spectacular cards, tags and other projects... Take a look HERE and then add your own.

Tag....You're It!!

This week our There She Goes Challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, ME!  :)
To play along, you just need to make a tag...whether it be on a card or just the tag itself!  I love making tags, especially at Christmas time.  It adds such a personal touch to all those wrapped  packages you will be giving to family and friends.

I can fuss and fuss over a card for an embarrassingly long time and although you'd think tags would go much faster, they unfortunately are not exempted from my madness.  But once I had settled on a design that I was happy with, things went rather quickly.

To create my tag, I started with the  Just For You die set and then added an image and sentiment from the No Peeking stamp set. They go together perfectly and are the perfect size for gift tags.  The papers I used are from Echo Parks, This & That Christmas collection....can we say LOVE?!?!    I love it so much that I had to order another paper pad to horde for later.  Some  ivory crocheted ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel & a mini clothes pin finish it off.

Some Mummy Loves You

This week our There She Goes Challenge is brought to us by Trendsetter of the week, Kelly!
She's challenging us to make a card/ project inspired by the colors of her favorite drink:
Pumpkin Spice Coffee.

I used this weeks There She Goes challenge to created a very simple, yet fun Halloween treat project.  You start with a full size Hershey's candy bar and wrap it with white crepe paper (party streamers).  I then sponged on some Walnut Stain distressing ink to age the mummy and finished it off by gluing on some googly eyes!!  :)  I used my favorite spooky stamp set from There She Goes - Hauntingly Delightful and the new Just for You banner die to create a fun little tag.  My kids have gone crazy for this and are begging me to make more!!

Yum!

Here we are at day three of this month's new release blog hop challenges, and we are LOVING your reaction to this month's sets! Today's set is just AMAZING, and we are SUPER excited to release another set of Dies!!

No sweeter treat, or better way to Enjoy Life in the summer time than an ice cream cone, am I right? Well, Torico has made a FABULOUS set of mix and match patterns of ice cream, and their cones, for you to custom make your own YUMMY treats! And even better, we have custom made our own Die’s to go along with this FABULOUS set!!! They are a set of three dies including two ice cream tops, measuring at approximately 1 1/4" and 1", and one cone measuring at 1 1/8".

My love for dies is almost as great as my love for paper pads so I am crazy excited about this new Enjoy Life coordinating stamp and die set!!  I wanted to do something a little different, so I put the Copics away and pulled out some felt and made a fun tag.  Wouldn't this be adorable as a gift tag for a kid's birthday party?!?  I used Bazzill's Cotton Candy and Easter Grass card stock along with a little scrap of Echo Park's (Hello Summer) designer paper.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a fishtail banner and outlined with Startdust Stickles.  I looped some fun Parrot Green Sheer Box Pleated Ribbon through the top and tied it together with some Lemon Divine Twine from the Ribbon Carousel.

Enjoy Life is a 4x4 set that includes a total of 11 stamps and will sell for $10.00.
The matching Enjoy Life Dies will sell separately for $8.25.

Would you like to win the new Enjoy Life stamp set and matching Dies? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, July 28th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

There She Goes...Again

It's There She Goes {Again} week at TSG and the Trendsetters are revisiting some previously release stamp sets, Tweeterpated, Flowers of Happiness, Bear Hugs and Hunny Bunnies
(All these sets are 15% off until March 23)

I used the Hunny Bunnies set to create some cute Easter Basket gift tags for Nathan & Brooke.  I kept things fairly simple because I wanted to see the chicken wire embossing.  (Which did not show up well in the photos...boo!!)  I used some scraps of papers from My Mind's Eye (Fine and Dandy) paper pad.  And I made a sweet little bow using some Antique Gold Satin Scalloped ribbon and Ivory Satin Center Band ribbon looped through the top to finish things off.

Be sure to stop by the TSG Blog for a list of all the Trendsetters participating in today's
 TSG {Again} Challenge.

For my tag, inspiration came easy...Brooke and Nathan have been watching Gnomeo and Juliet a lot lately and that made me think of one of my very favorite TSG stamps sets, My Little Friend.

Isn't he the cutest?!?!  I'd love to find him poppin' a squat in my garden!  LOL!   I chose one of the many gnome images and sentiments found in this adorable stamp set.  And Nathan and Brooke were tickled to see that I had made my little Gnome a "Blue" but Brooke quickly put in a request that I create a "Red" next!   ;)

I used some masculine papers from Echo Park (Times & Season) and then added a little machine stitching.  The stamped image as well as the postage stamp die layer are popped up with foam tape for dimension.

For You (RCC38)

This is my second post for the day...scroll down or click HERE to see my Tiddly Inks creation.

My fellow Ribbon Carousel design team member, Kim O'Connell is a fabulous artist with tons of techniques up her sleeve.  She also has a wicked funny sense of humor that keeps us all in stitches.  So this week, Kim is challenging us to use the paper-piecing technique somewhere on our creations.

And who would be a great sponsor for this challenge?  Why, Birdie Brown of course!!

Hello everyone! My name is Torico, the owner of Birdie Brown, and you may know me as an illustrator for There She Goes Clear Stamps. I'm a mom to two kids who live in Japan. I've loved doodling since I was a child, and have a passion for card making now! At my Etsy shop, Birdie Brown, I'm offering whimsical and cute (Japanese "kawaii") digital stamps created from my original illustrations. Speaking about card making, I love "simple & cute" design. So, most of my digital stamps are designed to match such a style. If you also like "simple & cute" style, you'll find something you have been wanting on Birdie Brown!!

Torico generously provided me with, Girl with a Rose for me to design with this week.  I paper pieced the flower and layered the tag with papers from My Mind's Eye (Market Street).  The Spellbinder Lacey Circle as well as the image itself are popped up with foam tape for dimension.  The tiny half pearls were colored with a G00 Copic marker to match the papers.  I used a combination of Brown/White Grosgrain Two Toned Ribbon and crinkled Leather Tan Vintage Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel looped through the tag.   The Ribbon Carousel is now carrying these gorgeous Pewter Pearl and Rhinestone Pins.

Hopefully my creation has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blogwhere one lucky participant will win 3 FREE dig's of their choice from the Birdie Brown store.   Your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool) and follow this weeks theme.

Be sure to stop by to see all the inspiration Carousel Crew B has for you and leave them some love!!

Made with Love!

I hope everyone had a magical Christmas, I know that I did!!  We are all still basking in the joy of  Christmas family time here in my house, as my husband doesn't go back to work until next week!!  :)

We have been having so much fun that I ALMOST forgot it was time for me to showcase more of The Greeting Farm images that will be available for purchase in just a few short days on Jan 1st.  :)  But first...I just have to say that I have been BLOWN away by the amazing welcome that I received last week from TGF friends and followers!!  Everyone left me the SWEETEST comments that I wanted to take a moment to say "THANK YOU for making me feel so very special!!"  xoxo  <3 <3

Now....let me introduce to you one of the newest TGF stamp sets, Handmade By.  There are 13 stamps in all and let me tell you...these stamps are SO much fun.  You can use them on the back of your cards or as cute little design elements on your cards or even on gift
tags like I have.

I've created a simple Valentines gift tag using the Made With Love sentiment from the Handmade By stamp set.  My papers are from the My Mind's Eye (Love Me) paper pad and scrunched up and pleated some Red 1" Grosgrain Satin Edged Ribbon and Black Vintage Seam Binding both which are from the Ribbon Carousel.

This tag matches a card that I will show you in a few more days....such a tease, I know!!  LOL
This time I used the sweet little Bar Code Heart image from the Handmade By stamp set and stamped it using Walnut Stain Distressing Ink.  Isn't it ADORABLE?!?   I then grabbed for some text paper from the My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found - Sunshine) paper pad and paired it with of course more ribbon (5/8" Antique Gold Satin Scalloped Edge) from the Ribbon Carousel.  The nylon wired butterfly I picked up a few years ago at an Scrapbook Expo.

Okay, that's it from me today....back to more snuggling on the sofa with my little loves!!
I hope you will have the chance to check back again in a few days for a look at my remaining The Greeting Farm projects.

And DON'T FORGET...they're are a still a few more days remaining to enter my Blog Candy!!!  Click HERE for your chance to win!!  :)

Christmas Tag

Welcome to Day 7 of the Your Next Stamp 14 Days of Holiday Fun!!

I am SO excited to show you the new YNS Holiday Die and Stamp Set.  These adorable stamps and coordinating die's are PERFECT for creating Christmas cards and tags.  Now...if you've followed my blog for very long then you know that I'm really not a stamper.  Yes, yes...I do stamp, but those stamps are so I can color, non coloring type stamped images scare me...I never know what to do with them.  But lucky for me inspiration struck while standing at the mailbox ripping my DT package open!!  LOL

You are now looking at the Ramlakhan Family's 2011 Christmas gift tags!!  This was so easy and fun to put together.  I stamped the text greeting image multiple times on a kraft cardstock tag with Fired Brick Distressing ink and stamped the double tree image with white ink and heat embossed it.  To add some texture, I used Vintage Cream felt along the bottom of the designer paper from Authentique (Wonder).  I finished it off with gorgeous faux linen ribbon from May Arts that I've been hoarding and tied it together with some twine.  LOVE IT!!!  :)

Please be sure to check out the YNS Blog for more fun holiday ideas!

Sweet Stampin' ~ Flowers

This week's challenge at Sweet Stampin' is...Flowers.
I was running a little short on time yesterday and decided that I needed something that would be really quick to create.  Fast and easy, is what I'm ALL ABOUT right now.  (Opps, that may not have come out quite right, LOL)  That's when I remembered that I've been wanting to play with my new stamp set from My Favorite Things - Die-namics Tag You're It and make some Christmas gift tags.   For the last few years I've made all of our gift tags and seeing as this was super fast to create; it is now in the running to be this year's 2011 Ramlakhan Family tag.  The image is called Mr Snowman 3 and is from Heather Ellis who happens to be this months sponsor.  It's sweet and simple but still so adorably handmade, right?  I've used a simple black satin ribbon, a touch of white flocking for snow, and a flower poinsettia that I believe is from Memory Makers.

I hope you will check back later today to see my Sweet Stop Sketch post!
