Winter Wishes

WELCOME to A Perfectly Odd Hop! We have partnered up with the ladies from Some Odd Girl to bring you something fun and different!

We had the pleasure of meeting some of the Odd Girls at CHA in Vegas, and a collaborative event was an absolute NO-BRAINER! Would the Odd Girls like to try out some fun tools? Heck yes! Using my Perfect Layer tool I created a CAS style card with embossed cardstock and some fun snowflake designer paper from MME Merry Christmas. I used this sweet polar bear from the SOG Winter Friends stamp set and created a snowdrift with a MFT die to complete the icy scene.

With the holiday's over the Ribbon Carousel is back in the full swing of things and we're ready with this week's challenge... Danielle's "Go To" sketch.

It's a fabulous sketch to use with images from this weeks sponsor, Some Odd Girl.

Here's my card using Some Odd Girl's Tiny Bubbles Tia which is an adorable digital image that was generously provided to me by Kristy.

I did a little machine stitching along the back panel of designer papers from My Mind's Eye (Love Me ) and used some gorgeous Rubytone Vintage Seam Binding and my last small scrap of Ivory Crocheted Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.

Hopefully my take on Danielle's sketch has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel, where one lucky participant will win 3 FREE dig's of their choice from the Some Odd Girl store. Your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool) and follow this weeks theme.
