We are so excited to bring you FIVE new releases which includes TWO brand new clear stamps in a BRAND NEW character line, and three new "interactive' sets which TGF is releasing for the FIRST time!   We sure do hope you've enjoyed our preview week and with that...it's time to SHOP, HOP, and CHIT CHAT over on our Splitcoaststampers FORUM!

We will be chatting for a few hours this morning and again for a few hours in the evening and of course, what would a chat be without a few PRIZES along the way?!    Be sure to join us from:

10AM to NOON CST and again from 7pm-9pm CST and chat with our DT, friends, and fans of the Farm!    Right now though, I'd love to share with you two more projects I have using Shimmer Bean and Sitting Lovely.

I've created a bookmark with one of the paper accessories for the My Mind's Eye (Hattie) designer papers.  I dressed it up just a bit with some paper scraps that I cut into different banner shapes.

Next I created a fun calendar page in an acrylic picture frame with the Sitting Lovely stamp set.
Creating a calendar page has been on my list of little projects to make for over a year now and turned out so cute!!  The papers are from one of My Mind's Eye newest paper pads (Be Happy).  The calendar is a sticker set I found in a local craft store while visiting Seattle a few weeks ago.

Last but not least?  Don't forget to HOP with us!  The ENTIRE MARCH RELEASE will be given away to one random hopper and announced TOMORROW on the TGF BLOG!   Here's where to go, and enjoy the inspiration along the way!

Wendy Ramlakhan  (You are Here!)

I have 3 projects to share with you today.

I've created a fun beach themed card using, Summer Fun Fhiona.  I just love her tiny little bikini.  :)  She comes with a few accessory stamps and a sentiment as well.  I've used DP from Fancy Pants - Beach Babe and some of sparkly rhinestone gems.  I created an ocean background for her by coloring sand and sea with my Copic markers and sponged the sky with chalk ink.  I even attempted to give her a bit of a tan along with a pink nose and cheeks too...she might need to reapply her sunscreen huh?

And for those of you who might have missed my Sneak Peek of Flamingo Fred late last week, here he is again.  ( I have used one of the two fun sentiments that are included with the image.)  This card was also created with DP from Fancy Pants - Beach Babe.

And as a secret surprise!!!  I have the pleasure of introducing to you Mini Chompy!!  Isn't he ADORABLE?!?!  So many of you have fallen in love with this little guy that he his now available as a mini stamp.  Perfect for all of those smaller projects.  I thought he'd look great on a corner bookmark which I created using DP from October Afternoon's, Schoolhouse.  (Shhh... the sentiment you see is an Early Sneak Peek at June's YNS release.)

You've got one more stop before your finished with the hop and that's Karen's blog.  But please don't forget to leave me a comment before you go!!

Thanks so much for hopping with us today, and I hope you are enjoying the new release!!

"Wicked" Good Book

I'm a HUGE fan of the book and Broadway musical, WICKED.  And this past October my husband took me to New York for my birthday along with tickets to see the show on Broadway.  I have to tell you, it was seriously the best gift EVER and I haven't stopped thinking about since!!!   I have my adorable stuffed flying monkey that I got at the show sitting in my craft area so I can see him everyday.   Even the screensaver image on my iphone is the musical's poster.  So when my sister confessed that she still hadn't read the book (that I gave her for Christmas 2009 - gasp!!) I decided to make her this bookmark as an enticement to get started.  :)

I've used Magnolia's, Witch Tilda with Pumpkins.  She's colored with YG Copics to resemble the main character, Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West).  And I added the Tim Holtz Sprocket Gears to represent the Clock of the Time Dragon.  (If you're familiar with the book or play then you'll get it.  If not...you can read about it HERE.)   The bottom of the bookmark was punched with Martha Stewart's border punch (Iron Gate). The sentiment was computer generated, using Trinigan and Architect fonts.

I loved how it turned out so much that even though I have a Kindle now and no use for a bookmark anymore...I made one for myself too.

If you're like me and love everything Magnolia, then you'll want to order your copy of the brand new Magnolia Magazine (Will You Be My Valentine) available for purchase now at 7 Kids College Fund.  You also won't want to miss the new So Special collection now on pre-order.

Hope you're having a great week!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

A Tasty Read Bookmark

WOW, it's been FOREVER since I've shared with you a project using an Elisabeth Bell Digital image.  And since the Boss Lady was so sweet to me for my birthday, I got to work right away making a new project.  For my image I've used A Tasty Read, isn't she adorable?!?!  If you haven't seen Elisabeth's exclusive digital collection, you can take take a peek at them HERE.

Since I really had so much fun making my last corner bookmark, I decided to make one for myself.  Reading is my first love and it's something I've not had a lot of time for lately with two toddlers running around.  I really miss it.  But now that I have a cute little bookmark...I think it's the perfect excuse to make a little me time.  Now I just need to find a good book.  Any recommendations?

My family had TONS of fun over the weekend.  We visited a petting farm, carved pumpkins and of course trick or treating!!  I hope to share some photos with you later this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today!!

Reading Takes You Places!

Challenge time again at Your Next Stamp and our DT Hostess Chris has selected Bookmarks
I decided to be "adventurous" and try a corner bookmark even though I haven't been a big fan of them.  I thought they were kind of weird actually.  LOL   But a few of my DT sister have made some really beautiful ones that inspired to at least try it.  I am so glad I did!!!  Okay..... not only are these SUPER easy and SUPER fast to do they are SUPER FUN!!!  LOL
Easy + Fast + Fun = My Favorite Kind of Project!!
I'll be making more, that's for sure.  My 11 year Step Son, Michael has already claimed it.  I had to beg him actually to please wait until the Glossy Accents had dried before he stuck it into his library book!!  :)

I've used Space Boy and his adorable little alien accessory buddies!!    The moon has been embossed with my Spots & Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder along with a computer generated sentiment.  The Space Boy I popped up with dimensionals and added Glossy Accents to his face shield.  (The photo doesn't really show the shine, but it looks so awesome!!)  Each of his sweet alien friends got a little sparkle with some Stickles.  I thought the Martha Stewart border punch looked like the tail of a rocket, so I thought it was perfect.  LOL

The challenge runs for two weeks, so I hope you'll join us for your chance to win some YNS prizes!!
