More than a "tini" bit happy

This morning I'm sneaking you some Your Next Stamp cuteness before our March Release Blog Hop later this evening at 10PM Eastern.  I hope you'll stop by again and join us.

I created an embossed background with a Paper Studio Quatrefoil folder on Kraft cardstock.   I created the mat using my Perfect Layers tool before rounding the corners.  I used designer paper from Echo Park (Dots & Stripes) to cut out a sentiment panel with a YNS Fancy Frame die.  The sentiment seen was stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink and is part of the NEW WhatNot Sentiment Set One which is being released later today.  The sentiment coordinates with the WhatNot Seasons One die set which as this adorable martini glass.  I'm a HUGE fan of Apple-tini's, so I added a little green goodness with my Copic markers before adding a nice thick coat of Glossy Accents (that you can't see in the photo...boo!) for shine.  A small bit of V-Striped Parrot Green ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel was added for texture along with Pop dots to the martini die and sentiment panel for dimension.  

I've created this card with our YNS Tasty Tuesday Monthly Challenge in mind which is to use this photo as inspiration.  In my world all of these fruity drinks all have alcohol in them!!  ;)

This photos also screams SPRING to me, which corresponds to our Ribbon Carousel monthly theme..."Spring is in the Air".  Sadly this is my last post as a designer for the Ribbon Carousel, my term as ended and the store is moving into a new direction with the focus on promoting the actual Ribbon Carousels and the exciting new designs to come.
