Feelin' Crabby?

Our final set this month is another FABULOUS creation from Torio. Made to coordinate perfectly with the previously released Make A Splash stamp set, this set if perfect for not only making cards, but scrapbooking your family vacations, and summer beach trips!

I count it as a REALLY  good day when you've finished making a card and you LOVE it, don't you?!?   I never seem to think to use little images multiple times until after I've seen someone else do it.  So when I saw last weeks iSpy Sketch (ISSC25), I knew this would be the perfect chance for me to try it out!!  I'm so glad I did because it was tons of fun and now I'm hooked and looking for ways to use those smaller images more.

My card starts with a 4x4 square base of Bazzill's Candy Bar cardstock and layers of Peppermint and Peanut Cluster cardstock.  Each of the little crabs were colored with Copics, cut out, popped up with foam dots and given a little touch of Stardust Stickles for some sparkle.  And once again, I used my new Perfect Layers tool to achieve the perfectly straight and spaced 1/16" layers on my card.

Edit: This card was chosen as a Splitcoast Stampers CAS Favorite!!  :)

I am SO very excited about two FABULOUS guest designers I have joining me today!!

Next, is my 5 year old son, Nathan.  Nathan loves all things boy but from time to time, he can be found sitting at my table coloring with me.  Nathan was inspired to color his image to look like his big brother, Michael.  :)  Oh, and before I forget...he wanted me to mentioned that his card is for sale.  When I asked him how much he wanted to sell it for, he said he'd like $100.00!!  ROTFL!!

The Beach Bum stamp set was such a huge hit, that the kids begged to use the stamps the day they arrived in the mail and had their cards finished before me!!

I would be forever grateful if you'd PLEASE leave my little guest designers some love today!!!
It would truly make their day!!

Beach Bum is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 19 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

Would you like to win the new Beach Bum stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, July 28th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Wendy - Okay this is crazy, but that same sketch popped in my head with that crab image as I was thinking about what to do. I decided not to and went with a different design, but great minds do think alike! :)

Amanda and Nathan - Your cards are awesome!! It's so great to see young people enjoying stamping!

I love your crab-filled card! It's gorgeous. Your two guest designers did a phenomenal job. I also have an 11 year old daughter. Alas, she does not share my love for papercrafting and certainly does not volunteer to organize my craft supplies. You are very lucky to have her :).

I love how you used the small image for this sketch and the touch of "sand" is perfect.

Amanda: Love the shading on your image and what a wonderful job on your "sand"

Nathan: Are you sure you are only 5? I like how hard you worked coloring this design; I think it is priceless.
