Metal Embellishments

I'm super late with my card this week but it's better late than never right?!?!
Our There She Goes Challenge this week is brought to us by Candace.  She has challenged us to make a card using Metal Embellishments.  The sky is the limit....use some ribbon any crafty way that you see fit.
  • To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using ribbon, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (April 9th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
  • By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
  • You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG150 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I've used a sweet little mushroom house image from the My Little Friend stamp set (a favorite of mine!!) which I then of course colored with my Copics.   I machine stitched on the My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose Collection (Gertie) papers and added little silver brads in the corners for my metal embellishments.  The sentiment (also from the My Little Friend set) was stamped on a My Favorite Things Mini Tab Die-namic and placed under the Burgundy Satin Pleated Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.  Something seemed "missing" so I added the nylon and wire butterfly...not sure it works but it's not to bad either. ;)
Need more inspiration to help you get started? Then be sure to stop by the TSG Blog to see the amazing samples that the other Trendsetters have created this week and then play along with us!

All month long at the Sweet Stop Sketch we are using previous sketches to celebrate our 3 Year Anniversary. My layout today is a loose interpretation of this sketch...flipped on it's side.

I hope you will find some time to check out the sketches used by the other Sugar Babies  this weeks sketch and then play along with us.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

I have never made a card using a stamp of anything except people but I might just give something like this a go because it's really lovely and your colouring matches your papers perfectly ...
