YNS July Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp July New Release BLOG HOP!

We have some amazing new YNS stamps to show you today! These new stamps are available to buy right now from the Your Next Stamp store along with all your YNS favorites.

If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from Jen del Muro's Blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the start of the hop at Kerri's blog, as you don't want to miss these fab new releases!

The hop starts today (July 13th at 08:00 EST) and ends on July 18th at midnight EST.

As always here at Your Next Stamp, we have a wonderful prize for you to win! One lucky winner will be drawn at random from the links in the linky list to receive Kali and Kai from Hawaii.   Aren't they ADORABLE?!?!

You will see that every stop along the hop has a linky list - this is the SAME linky list posted on every blog, so that you can enter the prize draw from any stop along the hop (although we hope you will visit every blog!). The linky will update itself on everyone's blog when a link is entered - how cool is that? Please remember to only enter your name ONCE into the linky list during the hop - you do NOT need to enter your name at every stop and multiple entries will be removed. It's not a requirement for you to comment at every stop along the hop to be eligible to be entered into the prize draw, but the DT would sure love to hear what you think of our new release creations!

Karen is also running a special 10% off promotion from today until July 20th. Just enter the codeYNSJULYNR when checking out to apply your 10% discount to your entire order

For my blog hop creation I have used the new Window Play Inside.  I totally puffy heart this stamp set!!
I had so much fun masking and paper piecing these images  (Please excuse the fact that my lamp is "up in the air" LOL)  The furniture is paper pieced using DCWV, Linen Closet and shading and depth were created using my Copic Markers.   The rug is actually a circle stamp that I stretched out into an oval shape.  I kept the embellishments fairly simple with a strip of Twill that I inked,  a button and a dangling key charm.

I have recently broken my index finger on my right hand in a domestic dusting accident.  ROTFL!!   Needless to say it has been difficult to color lately, but it turns out that cutting is even MORE difficult....so paper piecing may not have been the best idea but I LOVE the way it turned out!!  :)

Here's is a complete Blog Hop List in hopping order:

Jenny Peterson (YNS Guest)
Jen del Muro (YNS Guest)
Wendy Ramlakhan <-- You are HERE
Carole Burrage (YNS Guest)

So now it's time for you to hop over to Diana's Blog as she is the next stop on the hop, but I'd love it if you left me a comment before you go...and don't forget to enter your name into the Mr. Linky for your chance to win the July Blog Hop prize.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today!!  I hope you enjoy the new release.

Love your card, Wendy! What a great design!

Ouch, sorry to hear you broke your finger! That would definitely make colouring and cutting difficult :( Hope it heals quickly!

Haha, I didn't even notice the lamp was up in the air until I read what you wrote. What I did notice was the lamp coloring itself and the "light" coming from it! Love it! Never thought a lamp could look so good on a card!

The couch is really pretty with the paper piecing. Even though you had to do it with injuries, you still did an excellent job! I'd want that in my house!

Anyway, you did manage to make a wonderful care. Love that paper piecing. And I love those stamps. I'm off hopping now. Hugs, FRea

My eye was caught by the amazing lamp - & not because it was levitating (I didn't see that until I read it). The way that button picks up the shape of the cushion & the shading of the table drawer is masterful & I love that elongated rug. The shading of the paper piecing is masterful & to think you've done this with a broken finger........ Just take care of yourself.

I'm another that didn't notice the floating lamp until it was mentioned - I was too busy admiring its 'glow'! And you made this with a broken finger?! Wow - I am SUPER impressed. No more dusting for you, Missy! ;)

Would love to hear more about your dusting accident...I sprained my second toe (the one next to your big toe) last week vacuuming. Don't ask! LOL! I just taped it to my third, but I can't imagine how you made such a gorgeous card w/o the use of your rt finger!! Amazing!
