LOADS of Love

This exhausted little sweetheart is Laundry, by The Greeting Farm.  You can find her along with a huge collection of The Greeting Farm stamps at 7 Kid's College Fund.  I've had this stamp for almost year and am just now getting the chance to ink it up.  I think this makes a perfect Friendship Valentines.   Even though this is the first time I've had a chance to use this stamp,  I am always coming up with tons of ideas for her...I think she'd make an awesome Mother's Day card or a cute decorated coin jar for my niece who's in college and uses those coin operated machines at her dorm.

After using a paper piercer, I distressed and inked my October Afternoon papers (Thrift Shop & Fly a Kite) edges with Antique Linen & Frayed Burlap distressing ink.  The paper heart doily received the same ink treatment.  Much of her laundry is paper pieced with the same DP and shaded with various Copic markers for depth.  The border punch is Fiskar's, Upper Crest which I LOVE and don't see used very often.   A tiny antique gold rhinestone heart was attached to the mini clothes pin which really is holding that little bow onto the card.  The sentiment is computer generated using NewWGL4font (yes, that's the name) and Times New Roman.

A Spoonfull of Sugar = #138 Show some LOVE

Love all the details in this - that paper piecing is lovely. The clothes-peg detail is delightful & I love that doily. As for the punched border -a real stunner that one, think I might have something similar in scissors or trimmer blade. Thank you so much for your encouraging comments too - R also sends his congratulations on your being published. He loved your party photos too.
Much love

I've almost gotten this image so many times because I just love her, but then I think I don't need another reminder about laundry. I know you can relate, but it's amazing how much laundry 5 people create!!! Your card is nothing short of gorgeous!
