YNS January Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp January Release Blog Hop!
The design team has some wonderful samples today that are sure to inspire you.  All of the images that you will see along the hop are available today to purchase from the Your Next Stamp Store.

Lot's of pressure here as I am the first stop on the Blog Hop!!  LOL

As always here at Your Next Stamp, we have a wonderful prize for you to win! One lucky winner will be drawn at random from the links in the linky list to receive a new release stamp package!

You will see that every stop along the hop has a linky list - this is the SAME linky list posted on every blog, so that you can enter the prize draw from any stop (although we hope you will visit all the blogs on today's hop!). The linky will update itself on everyone's blog when a link is entered - how cool is that? Please remember to only enter your name ONCE into the linky list during the hop - you do NOT need to enter your name at every stop and multiple entries will be removed. It's not a requirement for you to comment at every stop along the hop to be eligible to be entered into the prize draw, but the DT would sure love to hear what you think of their new release creations!

Karen is also running some special promotions, so be sure to hop on over to the YNS store once you've finished the hop. There is a fab clearance section, where you can grab a bargain or two, and Karen has also put together some special-priced bundles!!

So onto my blog hop creation! I have used You're So Cool Butterfly & Sentiment

This little guy has me all excited and looking forward to Spring and Summer when we can hanging out by and enjoy a cool drink.  I know it's a little early to be thinking about that but a girl can dream right?  Besides, everybody in my house was born with a beautiful Coppertone natural tan.  I however need to get some sun... and soon too!!  LOL  :)

This was so quick and fun to color.  It was a cloudy, rainy, dreary day when I colored him and it cheered   me up right away!!  :)  I gave him a little bit of sparkle with some Stickles (but not too much...I think he's a boy butterfly, LOL)  and Glossy Accents on his eyes, sunglasses and glass.
And because I am in a mood to make Valentines I have one more sample to show you.

This is Love Muffin.  Isn't this muffin CA-UTE?!?!
I decided to try something a little different and just paper piece the entire image.  I really love the way it turned out.  It's so soft and girly.  I'm too heavy handed with my Copics to give it the pastel look I wanted it to have but I did add a little shadowing with my Copics to give it some dimension.  The image panel is popped up on foam tape and teeny tiny little half pearls just to make it a little more girly.

Okay, that's it from me.
Now it's time for you to hop on over to Beth's Blog as she is the next stop on our hop.

Here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

These cards are too cute Wendy!! I have to say though, the Butterfly card had to be my fave, but I love the quilt look on the cupcake card. So sweet!!! The coloring on the butterfly is amazing..love that glitter effect. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was one of those thirsty Georgia mosquitos but cuter lol Awesome job on both!

Fab cards, the bug one is hilarious! (wish I had a tan, its been so long since we had any sun my skin is more bluey-white!)

Cute card. I love the bold, bright colors; that would definitely cheer me up on a dreary day.

What lovely cards! Your Valentine card is just so soft and pretty. I love the addition of the little pink pearls. And your butterfly is SO cute! I love those tiny little sunglasses!! And the expression looks almost guilty in an adorable little way.
I'm white as a ghost and could use some summer sun. When I walked the dog today, I was bundled from head to toe and STILL had a touch of frostbite. Brrrr....

Don't know how this one slipped past my nose - I love that bug - just cracks me up with his face & your colouring brings such vivacity to him. That part circle of gems is so effective.
