Back To School - Hurray!!!

Tomorrow is the first day of school for us, so this card is is in CELEBRATION!!!!  LOL

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.  If you get some time to do a little stampin' why don't you join us at Paper Sundaes where we have a sketch challenge going on this week.

Our Sponsor is

I've used Apple Emma from CC Designs.  You can get CC Design stamps at Paper Jewels.
I realized the other day that I have probably used this stamp a dozen times and I just never show any of the projects that I make with her.  (Weird?!?!)  Well here she is!!  LOL

Hey!!  Did you notice anything??
Yep, there's stitching on my card!!!!  If you remember from a previous post,  my husband bought me a sewing machine in celebration of my making the Elisabeth Bell Design Team.  (Isn't he so sweet!!!)  I do not know how to sew, but I have envied all of those gorgeous cards that have stitching on them for a long time now.  Well it turns out that my husband knows a little bit about sewing (enough to be dangerous, LOL).  He threaded the machine and gave me a few pointers.  So this is my first attempt.  What do ya think?  Not bad huh?

Wow...this card is absolutely fabulous. I just love how you did the slight bit of green in the "glare" of the apples. And the shadowing of her dress. Wow. You've got some mad coloring skills.

This card is great! I did notice the stitching because I am always wishing I had that kind of cute stuff on my card. What kind of sewing machine did you get and would you recommend it? I just wanted something small and simple for sewing on cards is all.

Congrats on winning the challenge and SR. I found you on there and now i've become a follower. I can't wait to look at all of your other creative projects. :)
