Good Morning Everyone!
It's time for a new Ribbon Carousel Challenge and this week is all about Birthday Cards!!
We all need to have a supply of birthday cards on hand so this should be an easy for everyone.
I created a birthday card for my 4 year old daughters best friend, Katie. Brooke and Katie are the sweetest of friends and love playing together. Brooke often sits at my table while I stamp "writing letters" and makes cards for Katie. I used one of my favorite stamps from Belles 'n Whistles, Strawberry Tea and colored her to look just like Katie. :) The papers from My Mind's Eye (Madison Avenue) which I pulled out my older sewing machine (epic fail) to add a little machine stitching to the paper panels. I added some beautiful White Spidy Crocheted Lace from the Ribbon Carousel along the bottom.

Totally amazing coloring, love the trio of sentiment tags, great colors, and I LOVE the addition of lace. :)
Just received my email with this latest card and it is absolutely gorgeous! I am such a pinky girly girl and I love this colour scheme ... I just wanted to pass on a Versatile Blogger Award that I was given back in March and have (finally!) managed to get a post finished for it ... I got to choose 15 blogs that have inspired me and I am always inspired by your beautiful work so if you're interested head on over and grab the badge and follow the rules. Cheers ... Julie
Wendy this is so sweet. I love the beautiful layout and the colours are just so pretty :)
Oh Wendy this is absolutely sweet and so beautiful!! I love your coloring as always. How sweet that Brooke creates for Katie while you stamp. Too cute!!
This card reminds me of my childhood tea parties with my dollies... I used to have crystal tea set with fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh baked biscuits for my daily afternoon parties!
