First Kiss

Happy Saturday Everyone!  

Today's my Wedding Anniversary and I'm sharing the card that I made to give to my husband.  This sweet image by Sarah Kay - First Kiss could not be more perfect for the two of us.  It's all because of that first kiss that I married my husband!!  I remember thinking to myself that "I hope this guy asks me to marry him because I want to be kissed like that everyday for the rest of my life!"  :)  Let's just say I'm one lucky girl.  xoxox

I had intended to machine stitch the paper panels but these beautiful vintage papers from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Collection (Breeze) seemed to call for distressing instead.  Using the printed design elements on the papers as my embellishments I really didn't have to add anything to the card but a bit of taupe vintage lace and a Papertrey Ink Mini Text sentiment.

I've used this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch 129 which is another blast from the past sketch.  I've made mine a  square card rather than a rectangle to accommodate for the size of my image.  Be sure to stop by to see the other Sugar Babies samples using this weeks sketch.
