What's Cooking?

I'm finally back after a little break with a sample for the Sweet Stop Sketch.  Korin has another fabulous sketch this week.  For my image I've used Mo Manning's, What's Cooking?   I made this card for my Sister-InLaw who made my family dinner and then brought it over to us last week.  It was such a treat to have a delicious homemade Indian dinner of Curry Chicken and Roti.  I tried giving the image a darker Indian skin tone but one of my markers had run dry so she just ended up having a bit of a tan instead.  LOL.  The DP is Cosmo Cricket - Garden Variety and finished off with a Jute string tied into a knot and covered with a button.

We have some new Sugar Babies joining us starting this week!! Please be sure to stop by and check out their gorgeous sketch samples.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  9. Delightful colouring of her hair & that saucepan - the way it picks up the shine from the same colour of the button is a lovely touch. I do like the way that jute string echoes the colour with which her hair bunches are tied & that vegetable paper is such fun.
