Just like Dad

I've been busy creating cards for Father's Day.  I know that most carmakers dread making masculine cards but I rather like it and I'm a sucker for adorable boy images.  I stumbled across this precious digital stamp from Milk & Coffee Stamps called I Want To Be Like Dad.  The image was colored with Copics and a bit of Glossy Accents was added to his glasses for shine.  My card started with a base of PTI Smokey Shadow cardstock which I then layered with Terracotta Tile cardstock using my Perfect Layers Tool.  The designer paper is from Fancy Pants, Swagger paper pad.  I stamped a TSG sentiment onto the image panel and ten added "dad" using MFT By the Letters Die-namics which are popped up with foam tape for dimension.

Copics Used:
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E50, E93
Hair/Shoes: E50, E31, E35
Shirt/Sockst: C2, C1, BG70
Tie: YR09, YR06
Briefcase/Glasses: E44, E43, E42, E41

Thanks for stopping by!!

And yes, you are right. Me being a newbie, evenmore. I decided not to do images to color this time, but I will next year, God willing.

You did a beautiful job!

So cute Wendy!! You always do an amazing job on the "manly" cards. I am going to have to get this stamp for Father's Day.

What an awesome Father's Day card. I was wondering if I could post a link to your card on my Manly Monday blog post? It is where I supply links to masculine cards for my readers to check out. Guy cards can pose such a challenge for some crafters. LMK by responding to this post and If so will showcase it next Monday.
Thanks
Cindy
