Elle's Studio creates beautiful collections of papers and journaling tags that are so perfectly suited for scrapbooking as well as Project Life albums. The afternoon I received my Elle's Studio package I started seriously contemplating starting a Project Life album, but that won't likely happen until sometime next year. So being a card maker, I thought I'd show you just how easy it is to create a card with various elements from the kit I received.
I started by using scrapbook papers from the You and Me Paper Collection as well as an adorable You and Me Note Tag. After creating my mat with the 1/16" edge of my Perfect Layers tool, I dressed it up a bit by adding machine stitching. A doily made using Vintage Cream cardstock and a paper doll die made with Aspen Mist cardstock finish things off. I have to say that I really love the way this turned out and can't wait to use the rest of the design elements from the You and Me Collection for my future Project Life album. :)
