You & Me

The Perfect Layers Designers are teaming up with the talented designers from Elle's Studio to bring you a blog hop overflowing with crafty goodness and inspiration!  The folks at Elle's Studio were so generous to our team of designers, sending tons of scrapbook papers, stamps and more to create with.  With projects created with Perfect Layers and Elle's Studio we hope to wow you with some gorgeous creations today!

Now, let's talk prizes!

Hop along with us today and leave some blog love for our Perfect Layers Designers and the Elle's Studios Designers to be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate from Perfect Paper Crafting as well as the entire Serendipity and Day to Day lines from Elle's Studio.  Prizes will be selected randomly from comments left on the DT blogs.  You have until midnight (PST) April 19th to participate and complete the hop.

Elle's Studio creates beautiful collections of papers and journaling tags that are so perfectly suited for scrapbooking as well as Project Life albums.  The afternoon I received my Elle's Studio package I started seriously contemplating starting a Project Life album, but that won't likely happen until sometime next year.  So being a card maker, I thought I'd show you just how easy it is to create a card with various elements from the kit I received.

I started by using scrapbook papers from the You and Me Paper Collection as well as an adorable You and Me Note Tag.  After creating my mat with the 1/16" edge of my Perfect Layers tool, I dressed it up a bit by adding machine stitching.  A doily made using Vintage Cream cardstock and a paper doll die made with Aspen Mist cardstock finish things off.  I have to say that I really love the way this turned out and can't wait to use the rest of the design elements from the You and Me Collection for my future Project Life album.  :)

Ready to hop?

Thanks so much for stopping by and happy hopping!!

I LOVE this card! I like how you used the journaling card on an actual card, not as a journaling card on a layout! The doily is so cute!
