Wishing You Well

It's time for another Ribbon Carousel Challenge and the hostest with the mostest for this week's challenge is our sweet Savannah O'Gwynn.  She is the moral compass of the Crew.  Sav is challenging us to to use some metal hardware on our projects this week.  Any sort of metal brad, clip, or other embellishment will do the trick!

I wanted a shabby chic feel to my card so I started by distressing the edges of a sheet of designer paper from Glitz (French Kiss) and then machine stitching it.  This Wishing You Well image I used from Heartfelt Creations is rather large so I wasn't left with much room for design or embellishments.  So I opted for the less is more approach.  I threaded a lush piece of Champagne Silk Ribbon through a ribbon buckle and layered it on top of a strip of finely woven canvas that I then frayed along the bottom edge.
Copics Used:
Wood: E49, E44, E43, E42, E41
Stone: W7, W5, W3, W1, YG93, YG91
Grass/Flowers: YG97, YG95, YG31, R32, R05, R02

Hopefully my creation has inspired to you play along with us this week at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog Remember, your creation can be anything you'd like, just be sure you use ribbon, bakers twine, lace, thread...(anything that comes on a spool) with a metal embellishment of some kind.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
