Peppermint Twist

I'm so excited that it's my turn to host a challenge for the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog!!  I have finally had the chance to use this beautiful digital image from Mo Manning called called Pammy's Stocking.  I wish so badly that I had printed the image out on Vintage Cream cardstock (PTI) rather than in white, it would have looked SO much better that way.  The papers are once again from My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found Christmas)...I love it so much that I've almost used the entire paper pad!!  :)

The ribbon treatment was created by weaving Red Rancho Vintage Seam Binding through some gorgeous Ivory Crocheted Lace Ribbon.  I've even created a really quick video tutorial showing you how I did it.

See if you can hear Brooke say to me during the video,
"I know what you do, you don't have to tell ME!!
LOL  That girl is SO SASSY!!!

Copics Used:
Robe: R89, R29, R24, R14, R20
White Trim: C2, C1, T2
Hair/Nightgown: E47, E44, E42, E41
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E50, R02, R00

This week’s challenge is being sponsored by our favorite ribbon company in the whole world,

Hi Wendy, how are you sweetie? Haven't been round that much, such a busy time. Hubby's birthday was last weekend, have just had a bad case of the flue, and now Christmas is quickly approaching! Anyhow, love this image and your colouring, wow look at that hair!! This card is a total stunner, great idea weving that ribbon through the lace. Hugs, Frea

I can not thank you adequately for the posts on your web site. I know you'd put a lot of time and effort into them and hope you know how much I appreciate it. I hope I'll do exactly the same for someone else at some point.

This is stunning, Wendy! The deep, rich colours are gorgeous - and I love your ribbon technique. (Plus, it was such a delight to hear your voice - and Brooke's!!)
