Sweet Stampin' ~ Flowers

This week's challenge at Sweet Stampin' is...Flowers.
I was running a little short on time yesterday and decided that I needed something that would be really quick to create.  Fast and easy, is what I'm ALL ABOUT right now.  (Opps, that may not have come out quite right, LOL)  That's when I remembered that I've been wanting to play with my new stamp set from My Favorite Things - Die-namics Tag You're It and make some Christmas gift tags.   For the last few years I've made all of our gift tags and seeing as this was super fast to create; it is now in the running to be this year's 2011 Ramlakhan Family tag.  The image is called Mr Snowman 3 and is from Heather Ellis who happens to be this months sponsor.  It's sweet and simple but still so adorably handmade, right?  I've used a simple black satin ribbon, a touch of white flocking for snow, and a flower poinsettia that I believe is from Memory Makers.

I hope you will check back later today to see my Sweet Stop Sketch post!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Wendy, maybe fast & easy should become quick & simple lol!! I'm with you on that one totally, gotta be good whatever you call it & this is a stunner. If this was on my gift, I'd cherish it completely xx

The dimension you coloured into that hat & his scarf is just brilliant & I love his carrot nose. The pale aqua shading really does make the image 'pop' & helps to accent your use of the glitter on the falling snow (or perhpas it is the other way round - anyhow those little sparkles of aqua are visible in your photo. Your poinsettia decoration is a lovely stylish way of accenting this & I love the way the brain uses the softness of the tag's ribbon to add to the suggestion of soft fabric in the hat.
