Got Candy?

Halloween, candy and "What I'm going to be?" are constant topics of conversation in my house right now.  Every year I've managed to get the kids costumes to "match" (i.e. - Beauty and The Beast ) but they just can't seem to agree this year.  So costumes have yet to be decided but we are all looking forward to decorating the house next weekend in a Spooktacular way!

In the spirit of saving some time this week, I've combined my Sweet Stampin' guest designer sample with my Sweet Stop Sketch.  This is my last week guest designing for Sweet Stampin' and I want to thank them for having me.  I have so enjoyed working with such a bunch of fabulously talented ladies.  This weeks challenge is "Anything Goes".

I love Halloween cards and send them to our family and close friends with a picture of the kids in their costumes for that year.  (We do a dress rehearsal for Halloween photos)  It's become a family tradition and creates a fun memento and keepsake.   For my image, I've used Got Candy which is part of the newest Your Next Stamp release.  The sentiment is included with the image....love matching sentiment stamps, don't you?

Be sure to stop by to see what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

LOVE this! How fun! Awesome coloring, of course (duh!), but I love the DSP, ribbon, and that jack o' lantern charm! Another masterpiece from the Queen of Copics.

Love this image!! It's so super cute!! My kids are a have to many years between each other to match their costumes....Kara was in her princess stage while Michael was getting into the ugly monster thing. But this year I am trying desperately for them to be Little red riding hood and the big bad wolf. I FINALLY have Kara onboard. lol She wanted to be a "Dead Ballerina"" WTH? Don't know where that came from...but it's not happening!!! lol
Hugs,
Tracy

This is SO sweet, Wendy! I love the way you've coloured a shadow around the little trick-or-treaters. And the little charm is just perfect on your card!
I was SO, SO thrilled to see your comments! I do hope you've had a wonderful summer. I'm sorry for my lack of blogging. Life has been crazy with my work and studies, a flood and heaps of research as I prepare my thesis proposal.

Your colours are stiking & I love the way that little pumpkin embellishment picks up on the pumpkin of the witch's bag. Her skirt ruffles really mimic the serrated undulations of the pumpkin's skin too. I like the way you have a spotty theme going here too - especially the way hat the sentiment panel with the embossed ridges picks up on that large black spot with white white outer rings (overlapped by the fawn ones) but in the reverse colourway. Great fun.
