Out of this World

Happy Saturday, it's time for another Sweet Stop Sketch.
I have to tell you that I had an absolute  blast creating this card!  For my sample I inked up one of my favorites from YNS, Space Boy and all of his accessory images.  (I LOVE accessory, images don't you?) Both of the "space" background panels were created with the planet and star accessory stamps.  I also added a few dots  stars with various blue Copic markers and a white paint pen.  The little aliens each have a touch of Stickles and the astronaut's mask was given a thick coat of Glossy Accents for shine.  All of the images were popped up with foam tape for dimension. The DP is from October Afternoon - Rocket Age; it has so many fun vintage patterns...LOVE!!!  :)

The other Sugar Babies have created beautiful sketch samples to inspire you with.  I hope you will stop by and check them out.

I wanted to share a VERY special treat I had this week!!  I was able to meet in person my friend and YNS DT sister, Dana Joy!!  Let me tell you...she is just so ADORABLY SWEET!!  We had the best time chatting and laughing. We even managed to sit down for a bit and color a few YNS images together!! :)  After we had some time to "do our thing" our families went out and enjoyed dinner together.  It was such an awesome afternoon and I I hope we can do it again soon!  (Please excuse the grainy picture, it was taken with my phone...I was so excited that I forgot to take my camera!!)

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

I love the way you have picked up on the astronaut's head in the patterned paper with your focal image & those little creatures are amazing fun.
Great you got to meet a fellow DT member & sounds amazing with your two families having dinner together.

I love the YNS stamps, but I always get stumped on what to do with them. You ALWAYS create amazing cards with them and this is no exception! So cute!
