I got to create with this adorable cutie, Chompy. Remember the butterfly in my last post? Here he is as a baby!! LOL And boy is he hungry!! He's even taken a few bites out of my card...don't ya love it?!?!
I am so taken with my own little creation here, from the little nibbles to the sentiment (which I thought up myself, thank you!!) and his adorable grin I just can't help but smile when I look at it. I've stitched the background panel and popped the image panel and sentiment up with foam tape. I made a little mixture of Shimmerz Pixie Dust, Aqua and Turquoise Stickles and painted it on his belly. Just Stickles was used around the sentiment. (See how the Shimmerz makes the Stickles sheer?) And to finish it off, Glossy Accents were added to his eyes and the drops of dew on his leaf.
I'm entering this card into the following Challenges:
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to create with two of the images from this release. My next card was made using, Let your garden grow.
I used a Sweet Sunday Sketch from a few weeks ago and stitched all the paper panels. This was such a fun image to create with. I thought it would make a great friendship card. I was even inspired by the image to use some beautiful but yet neglected October Afternoon DP (Fly a Kite). The grass and cloud are dies from MFT. The sentiment is computer generated and the cloud die and background were sponged with Broken China distressing ink. Once again, I'm thrilled with how this one came out.

Woww these are stunning cards Wendy!! Love the little bite on the first card!!
Hugs Kristel
Both stunning Wendy - love those eyes & the idea of him chomping through the side of your card - very effective. The shading on your garden soil is amazing & I love those papers - the way the sky picks up on the pattern of your circle layer.

Oh My Gosh!!! The Chompy card has to be the most adorable card I've seen!!! So creative Wendy! Just love it!! =)
Both are gorgeous Wendy, but my fave is the first one. It is so stinkin' ca-ute! Love the bites out of the card ... that's just brilliant. The glossy accents on the dew drops is so realistic. Beautiful coloring on both, as always.
Both cards are wonderful Wendy but I ADORE the "bugs and kisses" one. So cute. I love the bite you took out of the corner.
