Warm Winter Wishes

It's a new Your Next Stamp challenge, and our challenge this week ~ Create a Winter Scene.
Christmas may be gone, but the weather man says that the cold and snow are here to stay.  However, here in Sunny Florida you never know what kind of day it will be.  Sunday was a PERFECT Florida day... Low 70's and Sunny.  With it being such a nice day to be outside, we spent the afternoon at Disney World.  But just yesterday afternoon it was rainy and the sky turned black as a tornado tore through our neighborhood.  Luckily we didn't have any damage other than a gutter being blown off the house.  But it was a little scary for a bit.

To create my winter scene, I've used Fhiona and her friend penguin along with Fhiona's Christmas Tree. There is Lavendar Stickles and Polar White Flowersoft on the tree's and snow for sparkle and fun. My little one's still keep asking when it's going to snow.  :(  Just the other day my son said, "Mommy, I want to do this in the snow" as he laid on the floor and proceeded to show me how to make a Snow Angel.  hee hee  He didn't know what it was called, all he knew was he wanted to do THAT!!  :)  LOL

So pretty Wendy, love all the purple & green! I'm glad to hear that you came through the tornado with nothing more than the gutter being the issue, that's so scary! Your son is so adorable, love the snow angel story :)

I love your use of multiple trees (&yes I had to go & look to see if the tree was a single or set of 3, much more fun when they're single & you can mask & layer as you wish!). Dleightful penguin & absolutely love that striped paper & those colours. Shall find YNS here in UK - know I've seen them somewhere. Glad you're all safe.

Totally adorable. With the purple and green, everything just pops off the page ... I love it. So glad it warmed up enough for you to enjoy your outing on Sunday, and I'm glad no one was hurt in the tornado, also. Scarey!

This is adorable! I just love the purple and green combination.
While you were enjoying Disney, I was inside as the temperature was -32C (that's about -27F). We got lots of snow today too.
I am SO thankful that you were okay in the tornado. How frightening!!
