Are you ready for some YNS cuteness?!?

Every year for Christmas I make a these yummy and easy to make Russian Tea Cakes.  They are SO delicious and are without a doubt a big family favorite.  And every year I also panic because I can't find my recipe which is written on a scrap piece of paper.  LOL  So when I saw the new YNS Clear Recipe Card set I knew that I needed to finally sit down and make a recipe card that I wouldn't lose.  And of course who better to compliment the recipe than YNS World Kid - Boris from Russia!!  :)  (Pssst...Boris is currently priced at $2 in the YNS Bargain Bin!!)

I started with a 8x6 base (which fits my recipe binder perfectly) of Smokey Shadow cardstock from PTI and layered with Kraft cardstock using my Perfect Layers tool.  The designer papers are from Teresa Collins - He Said She Said collection (He Said).   Boris was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copics.  He is popped up with foam tape for dimension.  I used one of the many fun sentiments included in the recipe card stamp set with MFT Black Licorice Ink.  I then added a YNS Fishtail Banner and a Perfect Circles border die from PTI.

Copics Used:
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E50, (cheeks E95)
Hair/Boots: C9, C7, C5, C3, C1
Shirt: W3. W1, W00
Pants: W7, W5, W3, W1
