Enjoy the Moment

It's Saturday so of course that means it's another Sweet Stop Sketch.
I LOVE this sketch...LOVE!!  I've had to restrain myself all week from using it over and over again!!

My image is from Belles 'n Whistles (Lemonade Anyone?).  Did you know that 7 Kids College Fund now carries Belles n' Whistles?  This image was sent to me by my friend Kerri, (thank you Kerri!! ) but I love her so much that I'm going to have to buy my own stamp.  She reminds me of Holly Hobbie with the big bows on her apron and in her hair.   She is of course colored with Copics.  And as most of you know, I have a heavy  hand when I color, so this is my very best attempt at pastels.  LOL  I gave her a little bit of sparkle using Shimmerz, Pixie Dust on her bows and pocket.  And a nice thick coat of Glossy Accents on the pitcher and glass.  The DP is a new favorite of mine...Flutter Butter from Bo Bunny!!  I totally {heart} those soft yellows and blues!!  The image panel was paper pierced and is popped up with foam tape along with the circles for dimension.  Nothing fancy about this card but I totally LOVE it!!  (It's okay to love your own card right?)

Challenges:

I hope you will take a peek at The Sweet Stop blog to see what the what the other Sugar Babies have done with this weeks sketch.

Well, that's it from me.  I have a very busy weekend planned.
My sister is down visiting and we are going to the Scrapbook Expo today and Disney tomorrow!
And I also hope to do a quick post early next week and share some pictures from Brooke's birthday from last week.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  17. I love that hair with the ribbon & the tie on her apron. The way you've used those circles of the sketch to echo the circles of the patterned paper is very effective too. Hope you've had some good time with your sister.
