A Tasty Read Bookmark

WOW, it's been FOREVER since I've shared with you a project using an Elisabeth Bell Digital image.  And since the Boss Lady was so sweet to me for my birthday, I got to work right away making a new project.  For my image I've used A Tasty Read, isn't she adorable?!?!  If you haven't seen Elisabeth's exclusive digital collection, you can take take a peek at them HERE.

Since I really had so much fun making my last corner bookmark, I decided to make one for myself.  Reading is my first love and it's something I've not had a lot of time for lately with two toddlers running around.  I really miss it.  But now that I have a cute little bookmark...I think it's the perfect excuse to make a little me time.  Now I just need to find a good book.  Any recommendations?

My family had TONS of fun over the weekend.  We visited a petting farm, carved pumpkins and of course trick or treating!!  I hope to share some photos with you later this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today!!

  3. Super cute Wendy. I just love these little bookmarks. I have a Nook now though, and dont read many paper books. It spoils you, I love how convenient it is! Anyways, an AWESOME series was "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" there are 2 books. The first 100 pages of the first book and not good, but once you get past that, excellent!

  11. I love that you've coloured the apple green rather than red - the whole creation is lovely & thanks for reminding me about the Digi Bells Blog - somehow it got lost in my transfer from PC to MAC - now rectified & I'm back Following.

Congratulations on your bookmark. This is such a beautiful project and the papers and your colouring are perfect. I often wanted to make such a bookmark but never find the time or had another "excuse" but looking now at yours, I definitely want to make one. :-) Thank you so much for your inspiration!

BIG hugs and have a nice day!

  15. What an amazing bookmark!! I have some store purchased ones, but still tend to use receipts! You've put me to shame. I love the image and papers - and the corner theme. Lovely!
I recently read Sarah's Key and could not put it down (although it also sickened me - you'll understand if you read it). I recommend it though.

  22. Gorgeous! I love all the distressing, and that you used only "part" of the image...sometimes I think we forget that we don't have to show the whole thing. Love it.
