Good Morning!!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
It's Sunday which means it's another challenge at Paper Sundaes. This week we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and we'd like to see your Fall or Halloween Colors.
My entire card was designed around using that big black Prima flower. (I decided after much too long, that showing half the flower was good enough, LOL) This is another poor Tilda that just saw ink for the very first time after sitting on my shelf for over a year. (shame on me!) And this poor girl almost didn't make it on the card at all. I was so disappointed over how the green in her dress was coming out that I almost crumpled her up and put it in the trash. Only because I was really tired did I decide to make it work. I like her, but I don't LOVE her...know what I mean? I was so tired that I even forgot to add any shading to the outside of her body and I think she looks "naked". LOL

ReplyDeleteYou are so hard on yourself lol but I think we're all like that sometimes. I know I'm that way ALL the time lol I really think she turned out cute Wendy! I actually really like the green in dress as well, it looks rustic, which goes with that fall feel. Another cutie in my eyes!!

Hello Wendy! Hope you are having a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous card! YOu are brilliant at colouring and shading! Great use of that huge flower too - I've got some of those and never know what to do with it - gonna have to case this honey! ;)
Oh but I LOVE the deep war colours you used on her clothes! And the stripey underdress is so cool, now that's something to try out. Your colouring is just amazing! And the big black flower is striking - it's so hard to incorporate BIG embellies on cards and you have done such a marvelous job!

Wendy, I love this card...it's one of my favorites of yours so far! I especially love that you took a "not Halloween" image and made her look a little Halloween-y! You've inspired me to give it a try this week.

Very lovely and pretty card. Great colouring of Tilda.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the alphabet challenge
The FIRST thing I noticed was her wonderful green dress!! (I LOVE green!) I am so glad she made it to grace the front of your card. Where you see imperfection, I see talent and skill and am amazed with your creativity and colouring. I'm impressed too as I don't think I would have a clue how to use such a big, black flower, but you've pulled this entire card off perfectly. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteLovely card, great colouring! Thanks for taking part in the Alphabet Challenge xx
ReplyDeleteGreat colouring!
ReplyDeleteI like your card!
